Training sessions during winter season


During the winter season we have general training three times a week, with more sessions organised throughout the season

Sessions are specified by the rowing captain in advance, and are designed so that rowers of different levels can train side by side. Training is not compulsory, however if you wish to be selected for a competitive UARS crew you are expected to attend regularly. The sessions may also be completed at another time / place, but it’s much more fun to train together!

The club also participates in indoor rowing competitions throughout the winter season, e.g. Student Nationals.

Circuit training is open for everybody, and so are running sessions etc. Sessions using club equipment such as ergs or weights require club membership.

  • Mondays            6 pm    General training, Erging at the club basement. (max 8 spots on erg plus 2 in gym)
  • Wednesdays      6 pm     Erging at the club basement(max 8 spots on erg plus 2 in gym)
  • Fridays         5:30 pm    Circuit training at Syltahallen.
