Membership

As a member of UARS, you can participate in our training sessions as well as row at other times individually or with other members. You can also race for us and use our indoor facilities. UARS membership and training fees are paid by calendar year, for 2026 the fees are:

  • Regular price: 2000 kr (200 kr membership +1800 kr training fee).
  • Reduced price: 1200 kr (200 kr membership +1000 kr training fee). Reduced price applies to students and unemployed, paid Ph.D. students pay regular price.
  • Junior and para rowers: 500 kr (including membership).
  • Support members: 200 kr membership fee. Support members are full members of the club but can’t use club facilities, equipment or participate in training.

For rowers who can only join a shorter time there are other options:

  • Half year (Jan-Jun / Jul-Dec): 1500 kr regular and 900 kr reduced price including membership.
  • Summer/Short term 30 days rowing: 500 kr, no membership and only once per year.

To become a new member of our club you need to do these two steps:

  1. Pay the membership and training fees that can be seen above, if you have questions or are unable to pay even reduced level fees please contact the treasurer for more information
  2. Provide some details about yourself by filling out this new member registration form

Previous year members who have not paid fees by 1st May will be regarded as requesting the termination of their membership and will be removed from the database.
